TWO SPECIES OF THE GENUS CHRYSODEIXIS HUBNER (LEPIDOPTERA: NOCTUIDAE: PLUSIINAE): FIRST TIME RECORDED FROM PAKISTAN

Abstract

Two species of the genus Chrysodeixis Hubner viz. acuta Walker, eriosoma Doubleday of the family Noctuidae are reported first time from Pakistan. These species are described with special reference to their head, appendages, veins of fore wings, hind wings, male and female genitalia. The relationship of the above species is also briefly discussed under the genus by their apomorphies.
