Abstract

A new cestode of the genus Raillietina alykhani sp.n. parasitizing Gallus gallus domesticus (Common Chicken) Linnaeus, 1758 reported in Larkana, Sindh Pakistan. New species was found to have different body shape, scolex, rostellum adorned with rows of hooks, suckers may or may not be armed , egg capsules and number of eggs in each capsule, shape, size and position of gonads and shape of its cirrus sac and uterus
